Zea's POV

"Another action like that and I'll put the motherfucker under the ground!" he spat at the motionless omega. Then he looked at his mother, Anny, and Jaxon who were staring at us in shock.

"What are you staring at? Clean up this mess and worry "For not ending up with Evan! This scum doesn't deserve any medical treatment, he should die," Phoenix hissed and then pulled me into his rock-hard chest.

Lightning flashed through my body and gathered in my stomach area. His presence was simply idolatrous.

I swallowed slightly as Jaxon started moving and wordlessly followed his alpha's command. I could feel Phoenix watching him expressionlessly.

"And who are you?" he then growled aggressively in the direction of Anny, who seemed to disappear under his gaze. His chest trembled against my back. I stroked his arm soothingly, which was wrapped tightly around my stomach. He relaxed something and planted a thanking kiss on my head.
