Olivia's POV

My experiments are finally making progress because I was walking in the forest yesterday and he didn't follow me. Even though he was traveling at the border, because that's what he wrote to me. Therefore, I firmly believe that I will soon be at the end of my experiments. Covering my scent and thereby hiding from him is one thing. But no longer feeling the attraction between us is a completely different matter.

So while I was combining other herbs and roots that have proven to be useful, another problem came to my mind that I had to solve somehow. How can I make sure it works without Xavier noticing, and does it have an impact on him? I mean, actually, it shouldn't affect him much. After all, only I will use this remedy if I find one. So this matter would have already been solved.

The much more difficult thing is to test my remedy in his presence without him suspecting anything. So as I filled more test tubes with potential remedies, I
