Olive and I met exactly 35 days ago and it feels like we are waging a cold war. While I'm trying to find solutions, she seems to be the part that can be trusted and could push the red button at any moment. But since I want to prevent this with everything I have, the only option left to me is diplomatic. And that just involves me standing at her car, waiting for her and then confronting her.

Olivia's POV

I had gathered everything I needed for my research in the library and was leaving the university building when I felt a tingling feeling deep inside me. This doesn't feel good, I thought to myself, holding my books tighter. When was the last time you took the herbal mixture? This morning? I looked at the clock. It was after six. That means I would have to take the next dose in less than an hour. And that in turn means that the effect is already wearing off.
