Zoey's POV
Determined, I pressed the knife into her arm, cutting even deeper than I should have. Safe was safe.
And I knew it wasn't fair.
And I knew it was wrong.
And I knew everyone would judge me for this.
But who said anyone ever had to find out?
The bed sheet gradually soaked with blood as I cut small cuts into the rest of my arm.
Opening up old wounds. Something I was particularly good at. Not physically. Psychologically.
