"I'm sorry, I really spoiled the atmosphere. We could have been having fun on the beach," Amber whispered, her gorgeous brown eyes welling up with feelings of remorse as she spoke.

"Hey! Hade protested as he fondled Amber's face by saying, "Stop it; this isn't your fault, and you didn't ruin the mood." Hade was doing this while running his fingers up and down Amber's face.

"I'll kill whoever did this to you, Amber; I just need a name," I whispered to her as I pulled her closer to me and pressed her body against my bare chest, enjoying the sensation of her bare flesh against mine. It broke Luise's heart to see his partner in pain, especially since we were unable to be there for her when she needed us. I couldn't shake the feeling that someone needed to be killed, and I knew it was wrong.

My courageous mate took a moment to compose herself before whispering so softly that it was almost impossible to hear what she had to say: "I already took care of that."
