Chapter 50
Even though my eyes were still wet from crying and I was still sniffling, I mustered the fortitude to ask them, "What's going on?" the tears can’t seem to stop streaming down my face.
"You're in heat, baby." Juan said in a strained voice and Amber hugged me even more. I could feel the tension in both of their bodies. That didn't make any sense to me, but then again, nothing does at the moment. The world appeared to be spinning right before my eyes, and the heat clouded my head, making it difficult for me to think right now. As if that weren't enough, I felt so helpless and dependent on my companions. Although taking the tablet did help, I'm still getting a warm and clammy sensation.
