Chapter 5

MYRTLE's POV

The alarm went off for the third time today and I finally jumped out of bed. I threw it across the room to see if that would make it stop buzzing, but it ended up on the floor instead. The events of the previous day involving Alpha and Beta were running through my head as I got out of bed and groggily rubbed my eyes. What they meant by that was unclear, but I knew I'd find out in an hour and a half when I meet with them.

After forcing myself to the restroom, I saw that my pink nightgown had hitched up, exposing my midsection. Oh no, I really need to clean up my act. The dark hair that had fallen to my back was combed, and I washed my teeth before I got started. I quickly hopped in the shower, not wanting to get late and insult someone who was a higher rank than me, which was relatively easy for me being an omega as practically everyone had a higher position than me.
