Daniel and Kuan laughed as they organized the table with the cookies they had just finished making together. It was almost seven-thirty, and none of their friends had arrived yet.

"We can go back to the couch and... Ouch!" Kuan laughed as he received a playful tap from his boyfriend.

"Stay still," Daniel said, laughing, feeling Kuan's hands tighten around his waist.

"It's impossible when you're so close like this," Kuan said, moving closer and nuzzling Daniel's neck, making him squirm. "You smell amazing. Come on, no one has arrived yet. We have about fifteen minutes until those latecomers show up."
