Chapter 29
"Mark incessantly honked the horn of his father's car, even though he was still afraid to drive it. He revved the engine to produce the piercing sound, hoping to startle Ryeon and make him hurry even more."
"I'm going, I'm going!" Park rushed out of his house. He held some books in one hand and a giant cup of coffee in the other. "I was just brushing my teeth, damn it!"
"Even if you had bad breath, I don't like being late, you know that!" Mark shouted from the window.
Ryeon opened the passenger door and looked at him disapprovingly. "You're a real pain!"
"Then walk, if you want." Mark complained, starting the car. "Are you ready?"
"Hurry up, Mark. I need to return the books to the library," Ryeon said, adjusting himself and placing his cup in the cup holder next to Mark. It was the only one in the car.
