Ryeon could feel his hands sweating. He had been sitting in the waiting room for over three hours and couldn't bear the delay any longer. He saw Jungso pacing back and forth, either getting coffee for everyone or simply letting his restlessness take over his body, causing even more excessive nervousness, which made everyone even more apprehensive.

"Should it take this long? Feels like ten hours have passed already," Jaesun grumbled beside him.

Ryeon sighed, and Kimi tapped her foot impatiently on the ground as well.

"The surgery usually takes around four to six hours. Let's wait because it's still going to take a while," he said, hearing Jaesun loud huff.

Jungso sat down at that point. Sun-ha held his hand, giving him a tender smile, even though her own mother's heart was completely distressed. She wouldn't be okay until Lucy was out of that operating room.
