Chapter 25. Love Is in the Air?

Victoria’s POV

Enjoying the party along with Alexander was both fun and a total chore. It was fun because, as you all might already know, I really like the guy. But it was a chore because of his absolute Ultra Pro Max protective streak toward me.

And when I say Ultra Pro Max, I mean it.

He had been standing glued to my side ever since we stepped foot inside the club, and guess what? He wasn’t even dancing on the floor in the first place. Just imagine how awkward it was for me to dance freely with the girls when he was constantly lurking right behind me, standing so close. Though I can’t really complain about the occasional moments when the crowd pushed us together, causing me to bump into him and fall into his arms, or his skin accidentally brushing against mine.

It was also pretty hilarious to see him like that. W
