Chapter 26. Dancing the Night away

Victoria’s POV

I was pissed, and I wanted to murder someone right now. And I wasn’t saying it in a joking, casual manner, either—I meant every single syllable of that statement. I was terrified that if I sat here for even a few minutes longer, I would do something disastrous that none of us would like.

Currently, I am sitting on the couch with Alexander on my left and Daniel on my right. But that wasn’t even what I was pissed about. I was pissed that Laila was sitting on Alexander's left side. The girl was perched on the arm of the couch while leaning on him for support. If you looked closely, she was practically half-sitting on his lap.

I mean, this couch is made for three people maximum—can’t you see that? There is an empty chair right over there if you want to sit down. Or at least just say that you want to sit here so one of us can move over.
