Chapter 5

Thorn just let Cassia go up to the room without eating dinner, but he still included her in the meal he cooked.

After having dinner alone, he put food on the wooden food tray and went up to his room. Upon entering, Cassia was not inside, but the bathroom door was slightly open, and he could hear his wife singing softly inside.

Thorn placed the food tray on the bedroom bench before looking at the bathroom's slightly open door again.

He was a man. He couldn't help but let his imagination run wild, but he immediately discarded it when he heard his cinnamon calling his name.

"Thorn, are you there?"

"Yeah." He approached the bathroom door but turned his back so as not to see what was happening inside. "Need something?"

"Um... could you rub my back?" Cassia asked her husband because she knew that he had no interest in women. "I forgot my back brush strap at home. I can't clean my back."
