Chapter 31. Craving for You (1)

“Benedict?” Hadley approached her husband, who looked like he was going somewhere too.

“What?” He asked her with curious eyes. He then wandered over to her, and by just looking at it, he instantly knew that she was going somewhere work-related. Her plain white outfit and a handful of documents in her hand say it all.

“Your car is blocking the driveway. I’m in a rush, can you move it, now?” She asked. Benedict smirked at her as he did what his fake wife had asked him to do. He just left his car outside the house upon moving it. He then went back inside to fix himself a bit more and get his stuff with him. Hadley on the other side immediately drove away to where she was going.

It was 6:30 pm that time and Benedict was actually going to the bar to meet his friends—his usual routine. While Hadley, at that time, was out for a dinner meeting with her colleagues. At least, that was what Benedict assumed.
