Chapter 43. I’m Jealous! (1)

“Do you like my wife?”

Those words kept replaying in Jethro’s head like a movie. It had been a long time since he had left the bar with his girlfriend, but his mind was still preoccupied, bounded by Benedict’s words.

His grip on the steering wheel tightened. Jethro couldn’t even start his car because Benedict’s question kept rewinding in his head. It not only left an imprint on his chest, but it also made him uneasy whenever he thought about it. It was difficult to accept, but Benedict’s words made Jethro realize that his heart was pounding whenever he thought of Hadley.

“Are you all right, Baby?” Kathleen asked.

Jethro turned to face Kathleen. He felt guilty when she looked worried at him. He was so fixated on his thoughts that he forgot his girlfriend was right next to him. But Jethro still felt ashamed whenever he saw Benedict cheating behind his wife’s back.

“I’m fine,” Jethro said with a smile.

“But aren’t we leaving yet? I thought you wanted
