Chapter 50. Unspoken Intimacy (2)

Jethro looked at Hadley’s room on the far-left side of the second floor. He wanted to go, say hello, and ask about the convention. He thought, ‘Dr. Carter might be hungry, or she needs something. In case she’s tired and stressed out, she’ll want to take a walk by the grand pool and freshen up. However, maybe Kathleen is right. She might prefer to rest in her room.’

Despite the hesitation, Jethro still took the courage to go to Hadley’s room. He was ready to knock, but before his hand touched the door, he was discouraged. At the same time, he suddenly saw himself following the luxury of the chest again. He slowly backed away and after he just turned his back, the door opened. His eyes suddenly glowed, and he hurriedly looked around Hadley’s room.
