Hadley woke up with a restless heart the next day. Having faced the emotions she adamantly repressed, Hadley feared she would lose rationale and succumbed to the call of her heart’s desire.
She went to work on guard, determined to bury her blooming feelings back from where they should belong, forgotten.
However, Hadley’s defenses shook as soon as she got out of the car. She saw Jethro’s car parking four slots away from where she parked and panicked.
She quickly turned away from his direction and opened the back passenger seat, grabbing her things. Yet ended up lingering while her mind got stuck estimating Jethro’s entry inside the hospital.
