I slowly pushed the paper in my hold close to them. They glanced at it one after the other, passing it to the next person.

I cleared my throat and began. “We got a message yesterday that the people of the crescent moon pack are being held hostage and treated like slaves by the Alpha of the black moon pack, Jasper,”

Yesterday, we got a message from Layla, Nina’s former personal maid back in the black moon pack. The message was actually meant for her but since she wasn’t here, I went through it only to find out that her people are being mistreated like slaves.
