The air was thick with tension. Everywhere was suddenly so quiet that you could even hear a pin drop. My chest heaved up and down in anger as I narrowed my eyes, taking in their sharp gazes. I could see my father’s beast peeking out under his outrageous eyes. Time seemed to stretch before Queen Rebecca let out a sardonic laugh. Her face twisted into a deep scowl.
