He still held my hand, making sure I wouldn’t remove the bracelet to return it to him.

I don’t know why, but I felt a slight pang in my heart when he called me a great friend. Keep it up, Leslie. Let yourself be hurt by his simple words… so you can wake up. So you can stop your infatuation with him.

“But… it seems expensive.” I protested again, but he ignored it and opened the door for me. I had no choice but to sit down and thank him.

“I’ll make it up to you at Christmas… but I can’t promise that my gift will be as expensive, huh.” He laughed at what I said and started the car.

We had discussions in our major subjects from the first class until the third class, so by afternoon, my mind felt overloaded.

As usual, Raven and Jessie were both slumped down. I was sure Rav
