I stared at the ceiling, still contemplating if the evil soul Verene mentioned was William. I thought about it yesterday when I woke up in the morning. Maybe that’s why he warned me, seeing what William was planning to do to me.
Now, I understand more the victims of rape and sexual assault—why some take a long time to report it, and why others choose not to report at all. It’s a difficult situation. I’m struggling to forget what happened, and I can only imagine how much worse it is for victims who have experienced more.
