I no longer knew what I was feeling with the multitude of thoughts running through my mind… it was like these ropes entangled in my head and couldn’t be untangled.

“Are we meeting? Why… and… what letter?” I stuttered, asking the man beside us, furrowing my brow.

We were still at the terminal, standing by the side of a jeep.

“Who are you?” Jessie raised an eyebrow at him and positioned herself in front of me, as if protecting me from the man.

“I helped you earlier, uh… shouldn’t you be afraid of me anymore?” The man squinted while laughing. “Don’t be scared; I’m on your side.” He smiled and then tapped both Jessie’s and my shoulders.

“I know you, Leslie. I’ve been observing you for months… and I know that Lianna uses your body at night.” My eyes widened slightly at his words, and Jessie and I exchanged surprised glances.

“H-How did you know that? Are you a stalker?” I held onto Jessie’s arm tightly as I stammered out the question.
