Chapter 57

“This place is so beautiful!” I shouted excitedly as we reached the top of Sagada.

We were facing the clouds, and I could see almost everything from here. The sun was rising, so it was getting brighter, and we could feel the warmth.

I hugged Raven immediately, and as I did, I felt the touch of his lips on my forehead. Just like before, it felt like butterflies were fluttering in my stomach.

He adjusted my hair while still holding me and looked into my eyes. “You’re far more beautiful.”

His words were cheesy, but I couldn’t help but smile. No matter what he said or did for me, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of affection. He had that effect on me… and I only felt it with him—maybe that’s why I loved him so much.

We stayed like that for minutes. We stood there, hugging each other, gazing at the clouds and the beautiful day that was slowly dawning.
