Chapter 53
A bright environment—it has been a while since I last experienced this because I was busy with my studies and the various events in my life.
I smiled as I looked around. Butterflies were fluttering around the flowers, birds were chirping, leaves were falling from the trees, and the air was fresh and invigorating.
“I missed picnicking with you all,” I said, tears welling up in my eyes, to Mama, Papa, and Lance who were sitting in front of me.
We were in a park in Bulacan, sitting on a large cloth spread out on the grass. We had food in a basket, and Mama was taking them out one by one while Lance and Papa were playing Scrabble.
There was no one else here except us… well, of course, I controlled everything.
When Mama noticed my tears, she immediately stopped taking out the food and hugged me.
