“Damn it, there’s nothing here on Mama’s phone…” I exclaimed in frustration.

I had opened various apps on Mama’s phone, checked her photos and videos, notes, even her social media accounts, just to see if she had messaged someone or sent something to herself about Lianna, but there was nothing… I didn’t find anything.

“Let me see.” Jessie snatched Mama’s phone from me and started searching for what we were looking for.

“The text messages… there are so many unopened ones…” She showed me Mama’s nearly 300 unopened text messages.

“I already checked those…” I said, scratching my head.

We were in the library right now because it was empty—our professor didn’t come because he was sick, and he didn’t leave any assignments either.

“Wait… let me open them one by one, maybe… maybe she typed something here but didn’t send it.” I shrugged and allowed Jessie to handle Mama’s phone.
