Chapter 35. Tracking Elsie

Theo's POV

"Okay, plan of action," I said with determination "We use our new heightened senses to find Elsie, it should be easy with our connected bonds,"

"Yes," Oris said "In my visions I swore I saw trees, she must be in the forest,"

With a grunt I clenched my jaw. I told her not to go into the forest for a reason, this very reason! It was dangerous. That girl was too fierce for her own good sometimes. Even though I had developed strong feelings for Elsie, her stubbornness would still irritate me, even when she failed to listen or take orders.

"Gracie," I said as I realised no one would be at home to take care of my daughter "I can't leave her on her own!"

"You go find Elsie," Oris said, stepping forward "Take Kai with you, I'll stay here and make sure Gracie is safe," A gentle smile swept across his lips as he looked at me, he really was the kindest person
