Chapter 37. Locating Elsie
Oris's POV
Sitting in Elsie's bedroom, on the edge of her bed I found myself restless. My leg constantly twitched uneasily as I thought about what was happening in the forest. I felt useless, wanting to help my brothers find Elsie, but I was needed here. Gracie couldn't be left alone, she was too young to fend for herself, especially now a rogue wolf had her scent.
The painful sensation still ached through me, and I caught flashes of Elsie's sadness and cries for help in my mind. I knew she was trying to reach out into our minds through her distress, now we were mated, it was my duty to feel her pain and experience what she was going through. Elsie's pain was now my pain.
