Chapter 57. Comforting Theo

Elsie's POV

I had come to peace with the fact Theo didn't want my help, and now I understood why. He protected me because he cared for me. I was too stubborn to see his intentions. 

But Theo allowing me to train again absolutely thrilled me! This was all I wanted, and the main reason I came to the Summer Pack. They had the best warrior training program of any Wolf Pack, and my dream was becoming fulfilled.

I had spent a good few hours laid on my bed, thinking about my life here and Gracie. I thought about where she was and where Rory had taken her, but I also knew Gracie was strong and intelligent and would fight Rory as best as she could. She was a little firecracker.

I thought about Theo and how he must be feeling. I remembered the sight of his eyes after he had been crying, he was a broken man and I wanted to heal him. Perhaps I should pay Theo a visit in his study.

When I reached the study, the door was slightly open, but I knocked anyway
