I wanted to keep all eyes on Elsie, to make sure she was always safe, which also meant accompanying her to the warrior training ground.

I had to admit I was incredibly curious about what went on, aside from the Warrior Selection I had never really seen any of our warriors in action with their training. So having the opportunity to witness this on the sidelines would be something spectacular.

This was, of course, my own fault. I spent so much of my time with my nose in various books I failed to notice the hive of activity of the Summer Pack around me. You could say that Elsie was opening my eyes.

I feel like I had become enthralled with Echo's words as she spoke to Elsie, she seems like a wise and experienced warrior. Which made me realise our Pack is in great hands when it comes to protection, especially if a war between us and the Autumn Pack is imminent. The way things are going…
