Chapter 33. Mom?

Jennifer’s POV

“Hey,” I started the conversation.

“What?” He asked.

“Thank you for helping me out today,” I said once we had already finished everything in my house.

“No problem, Jen, you can call me anytime,” he said. “Anyways, why don’t you move to your dad’s girlfriend?” He asked.

“No, I’m fine here, I swear nothing would happen to me,” I assured him.

“Okay, I will get some men for your security so if something would happen to you, they are here. They will call me,” he said and I nodded.

He said bye to me and waited for him to go away.
