When the man of the hour temporarily disappeared, Devvon didn’t lose the chance and I saw her grab Johann.

“You. Tell me. You are still going through that divorce, aren’t you?” her eyes switched.

“Mom, it’s a private matter. Just let us be, will you? We have our own agreement,” but my husband isn’t going back down.

“I cannot let it happen! Are you out of your mind, son? Why waste her?” I heard mom retaliate.

“Kendra and I, we don’t love each other. It only means we are bound to live separately. You of all people know that a loveless marriage won’t work. Look at you and dad,” Johann went overboard.
