Rima feels overwhelmed with happiness because she has returned to her sisters and maintained the friendship of her new younger brothers. Then they all set off in Uncle Farouk’s car to a street adjacent to Warehouse Street, ten minutes away by car or half an hour on foot, and Yahya and Kamal were there, along with the director of the Al-Adda Company.
The workshop was medium-sized, divided into an upper part called (atrium) and a lower part designated to hold two cars, and there was a large closet for tools. The place was partially prepared but needed other large equipment. Uncle Ismail wrote down what the place needed to become an integrated workshop, and the manager made an estimate. The amount required to purchase this equipment was one hundred thousand pounds, so Zakaria sat on the ground, counting on his hand, and then said:
“Damn it, I only have fifteen thousand.”
Adham said, “After renting the store, I also have ten thousand, twenty-five thousand.”
