Chapter 14
Celine’s POV
“Mommy, I want pizza,” Sean said as he stood in front of me. He had just finished eating fried chicken and pasta, and now he wanted pizza. “Please…” He hugged my waist.
“Baby, you’ve eaten a lot. Your tummy will hurt,” I said as I touched his cheek and ruffled his hair.
“Okay. Can I play in that playhouse?” He pointed to one side of the mall where a playhouse was located, and many children were having fun.
“Let’s see, alright?” I wiped his mouth clean, as there was still sauce on it. “Finish what’s on your plate first. I’ll call Granny Anna before we head to the village playhouse.” Sean nodded in agreement.
I reached for my bag and searched for my phone to dial my mom’s number.
“Hello, dear. I got a little delayed getting to the mall. There’s still some traffic, but I’m on my way,” my mom said on the other end.
“That’s alright, Mom. Sean wants to play first. Come and find us at the playhouse opposite the restaur
