Chapter 14
Celine’s POV
“Mommy, I want pizza.” I glanced at Sean, who was now in front of me. He had just finished eating fried chicken and pasta, and now he wanted pizza. “Please…” He hugged my waist.
“Baby, you’ve eaten a lot. Your tummy will hurt,” I said as I touched his cheek and ruffled his hair.
“Okay. Can I play in that playhouse?” He pointed his hand to one side of the mall. There was where a playhouse was located, and many children were having fun.
“Let’s see, alright?” I wiped his mouth clean, as there was still sauce on it. “Finish what’s on your plate first. I’ll call your Granny Anna before we head to the village playhouse.” My son nodded in agreement.
I reached for my bag and rummaged through it for my phone. I dialed my mom’s number.
“Hello, dear. I got a little delayed getting to the mall. There’s still some traffic here, but I’m on my way,” my mom said on the other end.
“That’s alright, Mom. Sean wants to play first.
