Faith’s POV

I blushed. I could feel my cheeks getting hot. I knew what he was implying.

“After all, you’re used to that, aren’t you?”

The smile I had been suppressing completely vanished. I felt a tightness in my chest. Here we go again. He was going to trample on my self-esteem again. I didn’t move. I didn’t want to say anything bad. I turned to look out the window. My hair slightly covered my face. My eyes were getting blurry. Tears were about to fall, as they always did.
