Faith’s POV

I wanted to refuse and protest. I wanted to say that he should just have sex with his girlfriend because I didn’t have the strength. He was slowly pulling me away from my sanity. He lifted my slipping t-shirt but didn’t take it off—just enough for my body to unfold before his eyes.

I was still wearing a bra, but when he touched one, I could feel the warmth of his palm. I knew we weren’t okay before I fell asleep, but now, I felt like this was his way of getting back at me.

“I miss this,” he whispered as he lowered his face toward one of my breasts.
