Chapter 35. The Special Treatment

Milan’s POV

The next day, I woke up after the whole welcome party. I yawned and stretched as I got up from my bed and walked towards the window to look at the sky.

The sky was clear and I knew the day was going to be beautiful. The sun was shining brightly, and the sky was a brilliant shade of blue.

A few fluffy white clouds drifted lazily across the horizon, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me. It was a new day, and I was ready to take it on. I turned away from the window and started to get ready for the day ahead.

I went to my daughter’s room to prepare her for school since she would be resuming a new school today.

I gently knocked on my daughter’s door and heard her say “Come in”. I opened the door and saw her sitting on her bed, looking nervous.

”Good morning, sweetie,” I said, trying to sound cheerful. “How are you feeling about starting your new school today?”

My daughter looked up at me and bit her lip. “I’m a little nervo
