Chapter 56. Enchanting Justice

Milan’s POV

We spent the next hour talking to different pack members, trying to piece together any clues that might help us solve the mystery. But no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t find anything that seemed to connect the thefts. It was like the thieves were invisible, leaving no trace behind.

“This is so frustrating!” I exclaimed, running my fingers through my hair in exasperation. Alpha Jake put a hand on my shoulder, his touch gentle but firm.

“I know it’s difficult,” he said, his voice soothing. “But we’re not going to give up. We’re going to figure this out, no matter how long it takes.”

His words gave me a sense of determination, and I straightened my shoulders, ready to keep going. “We can’t let the thieves get away with this,” I said, my voice strong. “We have to find a way to stop them.”

“I think I know how we can do that,” Alpha Jake said, a mischievous smile on his face. “But we’re going to need your help to do it.”
