Chapter 60. The Secret Revealed

Milan’s POV

After the conversation I had with Scott where he told me about Alpha Jake’s curse, I knew I needed to know this for myself.

We had helped each other find the culprits responsible for the stealing that’s been going on in the pack recently and one of them turned out to be Ava’s crush, Daniel.

I went over to his office to talk to him, but when I got there, he wasn’t there and I wondered where he could be.

I decided that I would check the pack’s garden if he was there.

As I walked through the garden, I heard the sound of someone crying in the distance. I followed the sound and found myself at the edge of the garden, near a small pond.

There, I saw Alpha Jake and Daniel. Daniel was sitting on the ground, his head in his hands and sobbing. I felt a pang of sympathy for him, even though he had been stealing from the pack.

“Daniel?” I called out to him. “What’s wrong?”

He looked up, his eyes red and his face blotchy. “I’m so
