Chapter 68. Deal

Third Person’s POV

After Talia walked out of Alpha Jake’s office, she clenched her fist in anger.

“Milan, I’ll make you pay for humiliating me in front of Alpha Jake,” she said to herself and walked back to her room.

On her way, a maid was cleaning the floor and Talia who was so upset decided to take out her frustrations on the poor maid.

“You!” she yelled at the maid, startling her. “Clean up this mess faster and don’t let me find you slacking.”

The maid quickly scrambled to her feet and started cleaning the floor with more vigor. Talia was pleased to see that the maid was cowering in fear. She felt a sense of satisfaction that she was able to exercise some power over someone else.

But deep down, she knew that she was still unhappy. She wanted more power and she wanted to be an Alpha. The only way to achieve that was to eliminate Milan from the picture. Talia knew that she was no match for Milan in terms of strength and leadership abilitie
