Chapter 26. You're Just a Toy for Axel
Blair sat in a cafe. She chose a spot close to a window. Passing through the streets of New York City is never quiet. But, the atmosphere of the cafe is so calm. Coupled with yellow fluorescent lighting, it warms the atmosphere even more. The sound from the music box on one side played slowly.
Blair tried to sit comfortably and leaned back in her chair. She rested one foot on top of the other. Both hands are on the table. Blair tried to show and convey the impression that she was not intimidated by the beautiful woman sitting across from her.
The blonde woman who had previously come to Axel's apartment and handed Blair a business card was sitting in front of Blair. She is probably in his late 20s.
