Chapter 27. Attack on the Board of Directors

Axel sat at the very center of the oval-shaped table. In total, there are about 20 chairs around the table. Almost all the seats were filled except for a few who could not attend the emergency meeting.

The meeting room was filled with tension. The members' faces were cold, with disappointment in their chests. Some even sat down indifferently as if it was a protest at their annoyance towards Axel.

"Without reducing my respect for you, Mr. Axel. You are completely incompetent to lead and manage this company," complained a man with a bushy beard and glasses on the bridge of his nose.

"Does that mean you're saying my dad was wrong to have left this company to me?" Axel hissed.

"Yeah, right." A woman answered Axel's question curtly. "You have caused too many scandals, Master Axel. Your arrogant attitude has worsened the sales value of our company's shares."
