Chapter 21. A Moment to Think

The contest ended, and Ayesha won. With my help and some pulls on strings, I was able to make her the winner. I don’t know what’s happening to me, but I'm not in the mood after Ayesha and I talked. What she said really blew me away and left me in awe. That is why I have been preoccupied throughout the contest.

They are now packing and getting ready to leave the venue. I have not talked to the other two wolves in the contest, and now they are gone. Shit! All of this is happening because of Irish death. Things would have been different if Ayesha had not said she was still alive. I should have been sleeping with the winner, but I couldn't. Ayesha is a wolf too, just like me.

“Mr. Custodio, I have no words to express how grateful I am that you continue to support our company. Have a safe trip ahead. We are going to spend the night together, so Nicholas will be with me. See you when I see you," Hannah said happily before turning around and leaving.
