“Now that the first gate has been breached, we must make our stand here to secure the second gate.” The warrior continues, his voice tainted by horror.
“There is a second gate?” I wonder aloud.
“Yes, it was built for times like this. You cannot see it from here because it was set up by the craftiest architects on the continent. They exploited the hilly topography of the land brilliantly.” His chest rises and falls heavily as he speaks. “Here on the outskirts of the city, our only job has to be reclaiming our airspace…”
