Chapter 18. My First Gift

Emma’s POV

Standing in the middle of my bedroom I look at the selection of dresses that are laid out on my bed for me to choose from. All of the dresses are various shades of blue because that is the Crescent Pack official color. I look at the dresses and feel that they are all very revealing.

Normally I keep myself covered from head to toe, to hide the bruises that my father’s ‘visitors’ left all over my body. But I have to remind myself that I am no longer under the care of my father and I don’t have any more bruises to cover.

A knock on my door drags me from my thoughts. Tightening the belt around my robe I answer the door and a huge grin spreads across my face when I see that Daniel is waiting for me on the other side.
