Chapter 60. You Can’t Run Away This Time

Emma’s POV

“Explain,” Ethan demands and my stomach is in knots. The exact thing that was not supposed to happen did. Ethan now knows that Ezra exists. I won’t be able to hide him any longer.

“I am waiting,” Ethan growls at me and I know that I will have no choice but to tell the truth.

“I found out the day you served me with divorce papers,” I begin. “I panicked that you would take my baby away from me so I ran.”

“What would make you think that I would take our baby from you?” Ethan’s voice is growing more and more frustrated.
