Chapter 66. You Are Still in Love With Him

Emma’s POV

“What just happened?” I say to myself. Standing stunned in my doorway, I cannot stop the huge smile that is spreading across my face as I watch Ethan chasing our son down the hallway. I am so stunned, in fact, that I don’t hear Daniel approach me from behind.

“You should close your mouth before a bee flies in,” he laughs loudly and I clamp my mouth shut but I still cannot wipe the smile off my face.

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” I roll my eyes at Daniel as I head back into my bedroom.

Daniel only laughs behind me. “You can deny it all you want but you are still in love with him. It is written all over your face.”

“What?!” I scoff. “You... I’m... He... Shut up.”

“Your hair seems to be messier than normal,” Daniel laughs. “Maybe I should have stopped Ezra from knocking on your door this morning.”

“We were just talking,” I say through gritted teeth.

Daniel lifts his nose to the air and inhales deeply. “Sure
