Chapter 65. Miss You So Much

Emma’s POV

Ethan scoops me into his arms and carries me over to my bed. Gently he lays me on the bed while carefully hovering over me.

“I have missed you so much,” he whispers next to my ear, sending a way of goosebumps to travel all over my skin.

He runs his tongue over my mark and the feeling makes my toes curl. “Fuck,” the word escapes my mouth as a moan.

Once again Ethan reaches for the belt on my robe and my hands stop him once again. Ethan sits back on his knees and looks at me with a confused look on his face.

“I thought...” he says as he ruffles his hands through his hair.

“I know...” I say quietly. “It is just that... I don’t look the same as I did three years ago. Pregnancy and childbirth took its toll on my body.”

Placing his hand on my stomach, Ethan gives it a little squeeze. “I don’t care what you look like under this robe,” he tells me with sincerity in his eyes. “I just want YOU.”
