“WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT IS BEING POSTPONED!” Emily screams through the phone so loudly that I have to hold it away from my ear.

“Exactly what I said,” I tell her coldly. “Our wedding, our mating ceremony, all of it, is being postponed until I figure out what is going on around here.”
