Emma’s POV

Ethan and I lay on our backs staring at the ceiling above my bed. Our bodies glistening with sweat. Reaching over, Ethan grabs my hand and gives it a little squeeze, and I realize that I feel better than I have in years. Who knew a few hours of amazing sex was all I needed to feel human again.

“Are you staying for the full moon?” I asked him quietly.
