Chapter 70. Shut Up and Kiss Me

Emma’s POV

“Then the ball is in your court, you can choose me as your chosen mate or you can reject me,” he tells me and I can see nothing but sincerity in his eyes.

A wave of happiness overcomes me. For the first time in my life someone is willing to let me make a decision for myself. I throw my arms around Ethan’s neck and press my lips to his. Sparks of electricity flow through us both as Ethan hoists me into the air and I wrap my legs around his waist. There is nothing I want more at this moment than Ethan.

I swipe my tongue across his bottom lip and he parts his lips enough for me to deepen the kiss. Ethan’s fingers dig into my hips as my tongue explores his mouth. The next thing I know, my back has hit the bed and Ethan is hovering over me. His eyes are darkened with lust and a soft purring sound is leaving his chest.

“Are you sure this is what you want?” Ethan breathes heavily.

Grabbing Ethan by his cheeks I focus his blue eyes on my own.
